| DESCRIPTION: |
For those sailors with experience who would like to earn certifications and/or join our sailing club, and also feel that their skills are adequate for the skill levels expected for ASA certifications, they can challenge into any ASA course instead of taking the full course. This entails taking the written test and water practical with an instructor (for water based courses). Expect to take about 2 hrs for each class challenge-in desired. Books and student materials are included in price, along with ASA membership and certifications once the applicant successfully completes the course. |

Cancellation Policy; A full class credit will be issued to you if for any reason you must cancel your sailing class. Credit is good for two years after the first date of enrollment. Credits are transferable to friends or family members. Cash refunds are granted if you purchased Refund Insurance (see below).
Refund Insurance; Unexpected events sometimes arise and force us to change our plans. Sailing Ventures offers our sailing students Refund Insurance for $45 per class and per student--due at the time of enrollment. Refund Insurance entitles you to a full refund of class tuition should you cancel your enrollment more than 14 days prior to the start of your class. If you cancel within 14 days of the start of your class, you will receive a full credit of your tuition valid for 2 years from your original class date. Credit is transferable to friends and family members, and is good for all Sailing Ventures classes.
